Corporate service application level

We audit software applications used by customer and define the opportunities to clusterize the software in accordance with the best practices and recommendations of the software solution developer.

Third-party software solution level for clusterization and load balancing

If the software does not have official clustering mechanisms, we work out clustering options using third-party software solutions. The use of additional clustering solutions allows to implement Active-to-Active systems for load balancing or Active-to-Passive systems for hot-swapping functionality in case of software failure

Hardware level

Data transmission and data storage networks with multiple network paths can be designed to ensure network fault tolerance in the event of a failure of one of the routers or a SAN switch.

Products and Services

Virtualization platform level

Additional protection is provided against the failure of hardware components of the IT infrastructure by working out the correct migration policies for virtual machines between the nodes of the Affinity Rules virtualization cluster. If the virtualization server is unavailable, all critical virtual machines will be automatically restarted on the remaining servers, thereby minimizing downtime for corporate service. It is also possible to flexibly configure VM migration policies between virtualization cluster nodes in order to maximize the efficient use of available hardware resources.

Data center level

Our engineers are working on options for building geo-distributed disaster-resistant systems that allow key software services to remain operational even in case of a failure of the entire site. Key systems continue to operate at the customer's standby site. Additionally, clustering can be provided at the level of sites through the implementation of "stretched SAN" type systems, Metrocluster at the storage level, Site Recovery and SRM systems at the virtualization level, or through a load balancer at the clustering level of the software providing the corporate service.
